Anyone watching this? (Just finished). Amazing food at the Fat Duck, Heston Blumenthal's place, but I feel if I went there, I'd need to stop at the chippy on the way home. Hardly any food on the plate! Anyone eaten there?

No, I just had a quick look at the menu. At £195 it would need to be amazing! You have to book 90 days in advance too. But I do quite fancy it.

I have eaten there and thought is was excellent and definitely didn't want to stop at the chip shop.

It was a fabulous experience and the service was exemplary without being OTT.

I decided not to look at the menu - too depressing. Mind you, probably cheaper than a meal at Claridges! And they say we're in a recession - obviously not everybody is!

My son's been there (he's a head chef) and he wasn't that impressed. I agree with what you say los, I would also be visiting the chippy!
