Tv Books ,film Reviews ,do You Take Any Notice

TV Books or your Daily Newspaper ,do you take any notice of the reviews or Star Systems ,1 star being Poor and 5 Stars being V Good .
After all reviews are only one person's opinion.I have often read a Poor review in my TV book decided to watch the movie and have really enjoyed it ,the same goes for a 5 Star rated movie and have turned it off way before the end.

1) Do you take any notice of TV Movie reviews including * Systems
2) Did you ever read a review and disagree with the reviewer's opinion ,what was that Movie ,what was your opinion.

I don't ever read movie reviews, so I can't really help much

depends who the reviewer is. Some I find in line with my own tastes, some not.

No never, If I like the look of something then I'll watch it/read it, if not then I won't.

a lot of ones they rave over i think are tripe lost in translation is an example then others they say are rubbish ive really enjoyed waterworld been an example so i tend not to go by the reviews

I get turned off something if it is over hyped or if someone tells me that I will love it grrr
