Hi !. I have a question. Can a normal person be as good as a talented person ( in boxing ).?
Im asking this question because ( want to make boxing my career) i want to box really bad and im 19 years old. What keeps standing in my way is this question. Also a lot of other people don't believe i can be a boxer. Mayweather ( champion boxer) started boxing when he was a kid and he is talented but can a normal person without talent be like him ( just like me i have no talent in boxing) , and i want to start boxing now (19 years old) . What would you guys say? . Am I to late to start working my hardest and maybe become a pro OR maybe a champion?

Give it a go, you're still young.
If you apply yourself for a few years & it comes to nothing its not the end of the world.
Some World champions turned to boxing at an older age.
Good luck.
You have no talent and you want to be a boxer? Don't do yourself down! Have a go. You have the important thing to be a success at it, the drive to succeed. Take yourself to a boxing club and get taught. You don't know how good you can be without trying and without a bit of expert help and training.
Yep, join your local boxing club. The trainers there will be able to spot if you have talent. Give it a go!
generally one would start much earlier than 19 if you want to make it as a professional boxer. It would be a hard road, and not one i suggest you take.
..but if he doesn't try, em, he'll never know. Better to have a stab at it and find it doesn't work, than spend his life wishing he'd tried.
that may well be true, but it is an incredibly demanding sport, one i wouldn't recommend to any one that is isn't 100 percent committed,
not only that you only have to look at many of the old boxers, not just Mohammed Ali, to see the damage it can do. I love boxing by the way, and have been to many fights over the years, and know a number of ex boxers, most who started when kids, as a way of getting themselves out of poor backgrounds.
Join a club and find out if you like it and if you're any good. If you're willing to train hard and learn from coaches and experience that's more important than wondering if you're any good or not
boxing is not only about skill. You wont get far if you dont have any heart and it sounds like you do. I would say to you join a club, enjoy it, see how it goes and at worst you'll get stronger and fitter and on the plus side you might improve even without natural ability!
