Wouldn't touch them with a Barge-Pole,absolute rubbish, they don't want to know when you have a problem, talking from personal experience here.
That's not very helpful Everhelpful!
BigRooster I hope you get some good replies to this as I am a TT customer and was wondering about the youview box but it's another £4 a week and don't know if it's worth it.
Don't go anywhere near them. My uncle uses them & drives us all nuts about their appalling service.
I'm very happy with my talktalk you view box. One off fee of £50 is unbeatable
I agree with missprim and aelmpvw - I'm a TT customer and always found them very helpful. Was also considering youview box.
We have had a YouView Box for several months.

We are TalkTalk customers ('phone & broadband) and paid the £50 installation fee........for that we also received a new router and the engineer/installation chappie spent quite some time explaining the operation of the box to us.

I love it.......absolutely love it! :o)

[and as an aside......I have had few problems with TalkTalk, and any I have had have been resolved to my satisfaction pdq....]
jackthehat was that a one off payment or do you have to pay monthly? I got a call from TT who said box etc was free but would have to change my package deal and that would be £4 more than I'm paying so wanted to know if it's worth the extra payment each month. Do you just get catch up or can you watch anything else like YouTube?
I may be wrong (I will check the small print) but the box is offered free to existing TT customers with no monthly charge. If you already have broadband you can opt to set it up yourself with no setup charge. It therefore costs me nothing to have it on top of the brilliant service TT already give me. Never had any probs. They are a great company. See my answer to Souldriver on sunday 20Jan at 12.22.
have broadband, phone that's it. Hard to get on the phone to them, not able to understand half the time when you do.
