Thumbing my way from Selby to Leeds in the late '60s, heading for a Troggs concert, was picked up by...............the Troggs. What a great group of lads. Took me into the venue by the artists door and got me a seat right at the front. Brilliant night. RIP Reg Presley.

Met Rik Mayall after a standup gig. He was nice and very happy to chat and have pictures taken. Even though his performance was quite manic, he was very normal off stage!

RIP Reg Presley.
Gness, I spent many an afternoon and evening in a
waiting room in St Thomas' Hospital with Michael Elphick. I was visiting my Mother and he was visiting Paul Eddington on the same ward. He was a lovely chap and we frequently helped each other out with 20p for the coffee machine.

I was astonished that he seemed to visit the ward every day, a lovely commitment to his friend.
Gawd I can't believe it, she got Michael Elphick, another one I adored
I met Hugh Grant and Liz Hurley unexpectedly. I couldn't have looked any scruffier. What a chance lost!
Once served Max Bygraves at a Sports Shop opening (Harry Parkes for any Midlanders) He was extremely rude and treated all of us who were serving the buffet as if we were dirt.
Eccles, that's shows what a lovely man he was, thank you
