Uh huh!
So when there's a foreign satelite broadcasting something you don't like would you like us to shoot it down? send in gunships to that country?
Say shall we put in a big firewall so that people can only go to web sites we approve of too?
Wake up and smell the coffee - England is a tiny relatively unimportant section of the world our ability tc control and censor foreign media sources is highly limited

Well we haven't control, in practice, over the content if a station is based abroad, none of its broadcasters are in the jurisdiction and it broadcasts only via the internet, or, presumably, satellite dish set up for the purpose of receiving the broadcasts.
We do have some control over those broadcasting from within the UK, by fines or removing their right to broadcast and by criminal prosecution of individuals for 'race hate' crime. It rather looks as though one has been fined, as a warning. If the like material is broadcast again, it is be hoped that it will be refused permission to broadcast

Well Ofcom has more opportunity to regulate Islam UK which is UK based and the mainstream Islamic broadcaster supposedly watched by the majority of British Muslims.
From what I'm told, their transgressions have been few and far between compared with some of the fringe stations such as Peace TV, though Ofcom is keeping a close eye on them.
Ofcom can be a bit toothless but they can also levy hefty fines which Islam UK will want to avoid

this is the point, that many so called scholars are no such thing, that they can expound their theories, and gullible people can swallow them. But like the rest of the religious communities, they can be discredited, and really you don't have to look far. sadly many do not see this, they follow the party line, swallow it hook, line and sinker..
