I've never seen a movie that scared me and that makes my other half think I'm a bit weird. He's brought home loads of supposedly scary movies but none of them have done anything for me. Has anyone seen a movie that they thought was really frightening, I'd love to watch one.
It's good to know I'm not alone. Madmen, I watched Paranormal activity and my bloke said there was something wrong with me cause I didn't 'jump'. I've never seen Wolf Creek but I'll give it a try, it's always a bit creepier if it's a true story.
When I was 12 my bro & I bunked into the 'Bug Hutch' to see...
"The Beast With Five Fingers" tarring Peter Lorre. Scared the wits out of me and I couldn't sleep for a week. OOooooooerrr!!!

When I was about 10 or 11 the film "The Innocents" was shown on tv and I had trouble sleeping that night - haven't been able to watch that film since. It has been shown on Sky in recent weeks but have never felt brave enough to watch it again
"I did quite like Wolf Creek, as it's based on a true story."
I also liked it but I don't think that it is based on a true story. It was advertised as being 'based on true events' i.e. several cases were merged and then added to to create the storyline.
Stir of Echoes is very good but loses its way towards the end.
One of the finest scary/horror films I have ever seen is 'Rec.'...highly recommended.
I agree horseshoes, I've read several books that were scary, I think it's because you create the images yourself so you see what YOU think is frightening. I hate watching movies when I've already read the book because 99% of the time they suck
I'm a wuss and I am happy to admit it! Even spoof horror-type films freak me out! I don't like to be frightened, I have a vivid imagination and scary films stay with me far longer than they should.
I can't remember the name of the worst one I have seen and I refuse to Google it in case some freaky image comes up on the screen! (I know, I'm pathetic! lol )
