allegations made against craig charles didn't cause him to be written out of anything - if mr le-vell is innocent, why should it be any different this time?

What I find strange is that he refused to partake in one Corrie storyline because it involved intimacy with a young person! I think there must be an element of truth now because the allegations were originally made in 2011 and a decision was made not to press charges. Other evidence may now have come to light.

craig charles crime was not as serious as these allegations,and yes they have to be proved but think after the last incident regarding le-vell i'm sure this will be the last straw

He was written out two years ago when he was first arrested on these charges but came back when the charges were dropped.

ITV have written him out whilst this case is active. It doesn't say that he has been written out forever.

peter adamson,who played Len Fairclough was cleared of the charges against him, but because he tried to sell his story to a newspaper, he got sacked from corrie, which left him penniless

I thought he'd got cleared of all this, I remember something about him thanking the police for a thorough investigation. Anybody else thinks he look like Colin Farrell?

It's the legacy of the Savile affair.

Someone's obviously decided they should re-examine those cases, for fear of being accused of letting someone else slip through the net in the same way Savile was investigated but let off on a number of occasions.

Present storyline, he is involved in the child abduction of Tyrone and Kirsty's baby Ruby, will he do a runner?

If the character Kevin Webster is permanently axed from the soap, and with Tyrone in prison, who will take over the garage?

Since we cannot go into an all over debate over this case, I just thought it may instil a little more interest into the debate without commenting on the whys and wherefores of the case its self.

I suppose I could have entered it as a thread in it's own right, but then I more than likely someone would have criticised me for doing that.
