Maybe they're fattening that horse up for Christmas dinner

if she kicks up a stink, hope they put her in a 6 bedroom caravan!
It is absolutely disgusting I agree. The fault lies in the benefits system that allows it to happen - that makes me a right-wing knob I expect.

How does this woman do it?

Dunno but you've got to admire her initiative.
Just think of the "precious" lessons her offspring are learning about how to succeed in life!!
This lady, who lives in our council jurisdiction btw, has been branded as lazy by her own dad for not working. And yet he admits she's a good mum and the children are great. So she can't be THAT lazy, whatever you think about the 'lifestyle' . Personally I say we'll done to Yeekesbury and I don't say that all that often. Yes she's milking the system but I have more respect for a person in her position doing it than people like Lord McAlpine, raking it in from the (publicly funded) BBC and threatening twitter users with a series of thinly veiled threats
I am astonished at the media bullying of this woman.
She's not the only person in this situation, living the good life at tax payers expense.
She has done nothing illegal; she hasn't cheated the benefit system.

I do feel sorry for the children when they go back to school on Monday - they won't be having an easy time of it.

Whilst I would much prefer my taxes weren't spent keeping families like this I really don't know what the answer is.

I don't want to live in a country that forcibly sterilises women when they have a certain amount of children; or forcibly removes children from their mothers for the sole reason she has too many children and has not got a job.
I don't want to see children homeless.

Getting back to this woman in particular - the flying lessons is unsubstantiated gossip; the parrot may have been a gift. There has been too many very lengthy articles in the media about her, in the Mail particularly. By all means highlight the problem but do it in a general way without naming names.
Let's have the facts - how many families are in her position with a large family and never worked?
Let's have some answers to the problem instead of finger pointing and jeering.
'Idyllic' Forest of Dean?? That's a laugh !!
her eldest daughter said that no one should criticise her mum, nor expect that they will be work shy? does she think her mother, who has never worked, or so it appears, to be work shy.. answers on a postcard please..
Well said hc. In fact a lot of people commenting in the local press have spoken up for her, which is heartening
it doesn't matter whether it's idyllic or not, this is what is patently wrong with our system, first baby age 14 and she just kept on having them, what on earth is wrong with her, the father and some who thinks this ok. agggghhhhh
Criticise the system and come up with suggestions.
Lambasting this woman and her family can't be right when she is not breaking the law.
Yes, she was 14 when she had baby number 1. The father was well in his 20s - why wasn't he prosecuted and why isn't he getting the finger pointed at him?
He did break the law.
