Who goes to film premiers?

You see film premiers on the TV all the time and I'd love to go to one - I mean, I'd love to be in a career where I could go to some. I'm just starting my AS Levels in Maths, Business Studies, Physics and Pyschology so I can pretty much do any career I want...except being an actor (I can't act for my life!).

Who else goes to film premiers, other than the actors, directors and producers? I'm just trying to do some career planning here!

I'd be grateful for any replies,

MissSurfer

PS I know I can't do ANY career but I mean I'm not restricted in the way I might be if I was in my 30s with kids.

cinema staff, my wife worked at the odeon a few years ago and every film premiere at leicester square, odeon allowed two staff members from each of their cinemas 2 tickets to attend! The branch at our odeon tho only allowed the manager and merchandising manager to go (think they were conning the staff out of them)
You could marry an actor/producer/director etc or become a celebrity in your own right!

I'm no expert but have you considered the very many technical, administrative, management areas associated with the media industry?

Can you think of a job you'd enjoy doing when you've finished full-time study that is in demand in any part of the media industry?

Can you think of any employers you'd enjoy working for who are, in any way, connected to film premiers?

Also, what is it about film premieres that you like?  For example, would you get the same pleasure from working with MPs or the Royal Family?

If you want a job that gets you into film premieres then go for it.  A perfectly reasonable career goal.

Hi...this is MissSurfer - the one who posted the question!

Thanks for the replies so far. Do you think PR people sometimes go to film premiers?

I like the idea of all the glitz and glam and crowds watching you (even if they're not that interested in you, but other people ie the actors). I'm not a good actor though - more academic, I mean, I prefer the A Level + Uni route (I'm not saying drama isn't academic just I'm better at written sort of skills...if you get me)!

Anyone else offer any further advice? I'd appreciate it!
