Having been dumped tonight I am watching Comic Relief and will probably donate what I would have paid for my night out, assuming the two are commensurate!

Will/are you watching and will you donate?

I always watch it. (I have a thing for Lenny Henry!) I donated last night after watching the "Through Hell and High Water"programme last night and I will no doubt donate tonight. I am drinking a cuppa out of my "Milk Nose Sugar" mug from Sainsburys. :)
I'm watching. I won't be donating tonight because I've lost my card but I will donate after and pay up for some sponsors.
I always tune in. I love it!

And I wont be giving tonight but I have done all week at work. We've been baking and selling cakes, doing nail art, had a toy swap and had fancy dress/wear red today.
Every year I'm always amazed at the generosity of the British people.
Same, Ummmm. Brings everyone together too :-)

I've always enjoyed the CR I've watched and have felt it perfectly fair to give the value of a night out .

It is heartbreaking and heartwarming in equal measure. No doubt some miserable buggers will come along and remind us how 'broken' Britain is and how we should fix the UK first. I'll reserve my comment with regard to them until they manifest themselves.

Meanwhile I will watch, learn, laugh and cry.
Comic relief deals with home grown issues as well.

Ummmm, I know but there are a good few cynics who believe the money goes to despots, scroungers and other unworthiness.

I think it is a valid attempt to help and heighten awareness for the less fortunate.

Watching it in dribs and drabs tonight.

I won't be donating via a donation tonight, I have however, pretty much been donating all week as school has been running fund raisers all week which Mini Boo's participated and donated in to.
can someone explain what the sketch with Peter Kay was all about, i turned over just as it was going off...
If it gets funny I'll donate....... Promise.
Question Author
I have to agree, the Peter Kay sketch is very, very weak
:-(
Did I mis-see it or did he only manage to raise £146.00?
It was a p***-take Sharingan. :)
what was it about...
Oh well I've outed myself as stupid, so that's good, I thought it couldn't possibly be right.lol
It was just a daft thing he did. Instead of running marathons, swimming the Channel and climbing mountains, he sat on his ass from Ireland to London being pulled by dwarves.
Peter Kay is terrible... I can honestly say that he has never made me laugh and it doesn't take a lot to make me laugh! :-)
"Smithy" doing a rant has been the best and most effective thing so far. Brilliant
Rather watch paint dry!
