Starting next Saturday. Are you looking forward to it ? I shall be recording it and whizzing thru all the adverts as I usually do, as well as the beginning where they all land in separate helicopters and come out of separate cars and come on stage and everyone claps etc. etc. I counted one audition in the first segment before the first adverts last series. I only like the 'bad' auditions, then when the passable ones go through to the next round I lose interest.

Yes, something fun to look forward to - have always enjoyed BGT.
never watched it, never will
I laugh my head off at the bad auditions, trying to figure out whether the competitor is serious or not. I get a little hooked, so I tend to watch it all the way to the end.
I actually quite like the program. Ant and Dec are very difficult not to like...they are the nations cheeky little brothers I suppose. Some of the acts are quite good...remember Susan Boyle ? Everybody was sniggering at her because she hadn't shaved her legs but as soon as she started to sing, they all cheered ! The dance acts are marvellous... such precision from such young performers.

BGT is miles better than the bloody X Factor, with all those tiresome people singing pop music with American accents !

God save me from pop music.

I might watch bits of it. I like Ant and Dec. Can’t be doing with the other programme where everyone tells a sob story and cries buckets.
I agree Naomi, whilst these stories may be heartbreaking etc, a talent show is not the place and nobody should be influenced by them in respect of them displaying their talents.
I tend to just watch the extra show on ITV2 afterwards. It shows all the best bits of the main show without the as much rubbish and you see more acts.
I'll be doing exactly what you're doing smurf. Can't stand all the ads and just want to see the acts .....

I can't stand that Stephen bloke who does Xtra Factor, too much talking between judges etc. and messing about in that show and not enough auditions so I just stick with the original.
No
Just watched highlights of BGT on some satellite channel. That moment when Susan Boyle stopped arseing about and started to sing, still brings shivers down my spine. I would love to have been in the audience that night.

We should be glad that Britain REALLY does have some wonderful talent, and this show is the best I have seen to bring that talent to the fore. Lets hope this summer brings us more such good moments.
Whenever I see that clip of SuBo, it makes my cry - EVERY DAMN TIME !!!!
while I like ant and dec okay - why do they need to be there at the wings for Gawds sake.
Question Author
And Dec always turning around and looking to the sides of the camera when he is in the wings ... always annoys me, but then most things do ...
I love BGT. Mainly because of Ant and Dec and Stephen Mulhern on the ITV2 show. I like BGT more than X-Factor....much less crying!
BGT is fun - especially the Hungarian shadow theatre, the 11iear old and the beautiful, splendid voiced beautician - this time there were more japes that made the programme more entertaining.
Good show last night little chap with walker very funny should go far
Why does everyone like those two little irritating so and sos? They put me off watching any programme they are in.Perhaps they could host Eurovision.
