seemed a very confusing end to thomas kings appearance first he was being sent back to Saudi, then hes staying then some he managed to get the keys to the Volkswagen again (despite i should imaging they would be in the owners house ??) and the we here ,he on a flight to Saudi, very strange, looks like a another hurried piece of script writing

Didn't know he was away. Don't think the storyline worked. Maybe he didn't appeal to the viewers.

He went because Belle said them being together was causing her loads of grief with the parents. He said something like "is it all worth it", and then next thing we know he's on a plane.

I agree, rubbish script writing. I liked his character.
