Why does ITV insist on putting the news on in between films? It's bad enough having commercial breaks, but this takes the biscuit.

They probably do this ecoman because people tune in at 10 especially for the news.  I know what you mean though it is annoying when you are in the middle of a drama/film or whatever.  On the other hand however with BBC you dont get a break at all not even to go to the toilet.

I couldn't agree more.To add insult to injury,after the news you get just the last 30 minutes of the film,and I find by then all the tension/drama has been lost.Why can't ITV just put the news on AFTER the film,it's beyond me.

When they do this (usually to a James Bond Film) the news is on at 10.30(not 10.00) and then from 11.00~11.30 you get the last half hour of the film.There is no sense to it!
