i should point out that this question is to do with my boyfriend driving me mad - every night he asks me if she is wearing a wig.  i don't even follow it that closely but would love to make him shut up!

Its called a weave, its where the natural hair is plaited and secured tightly to the head and false hair is woven in through it.

 

It is very common with people with afro hair - stars like beyonce have them done as the false hair is more manageable and versitile

it makes me laugh when she itches her head though as the whole lot moves... I dont think its a weave (not in the term I know weaves to be) I think its a full on wig.

Its had its day now... she hasnt taken it off once! In fact I think she did once and wore a headscarf all day with extensions hanging out the back.... did anyone else?
