These people may shine in their individual fields, but when it comes to thinking on thier feet and using initiative and common sense - two attributes Lord Sugar has in spades, and wants in his associates - they all fall down badly.

My wife works in Abu Dhabi and she was laughing her socks off at their basic errors - including heading for any mall when a sukh is available.

The candidates just don't seem to use any common sense - why did it need three of them to sit around waiting an hour for a flag to be made? I obviously don't know the logistics of Dubai, whether the flag shop was near the souk or a mall, but if they are working against the clock, why waste so much time?
I should think that Karen and Nick must have a terrible time not being able to drop a few hunts when everything is going pear shaped around them!
