Don't Dance With The Devil .....

Hello, Can anyone help with the following, it's driving me mad.

When I was a young girl, I recall the beginning part of a saying my grandmother use to say - something along the lines of "Don't dance with the Devil ...... " but can't remember the last part of it.

Has anyone else heard this and do you know what the last part is. It's was said when she was warning us not to start some action we couldn't finish.

I dont know about that, but i always remember Jack Nicholson saying "have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"
