Sky And Adt Alarm System

Hi All
Anyone got Sky Broadband and a ADT monitored alarm system. An engineer told us that we cannot transfer to Sky Broadband if we have an ADT alarm. We have phoned ADT and they say we can but sky need to take the voicemail off. Im a bit confused because Sky dont really know. Anyone help with this.
