FINA I didn't suspect Julie J. either but as I've only recently got back into it I'm a bit out of touch with some of the characters.  Would the ice dagger really work I wonder?  I thought it might have been Kevin Spiers. I just love Sylvia!

Def didn't suspect Julie.  She is obviously going to confess.  The ice trick wouldn't work if there was a CSI around but with only Tony Slattery what do you expect.   Thinking about it now I don't like the fact that its Julie would have preferred it to be one of the more annoying characters.

stupid ending to a great plot that one, i mean she managed to get her hands on scissors that are banned,  managed to chizel out a dagger of ice with a pair of scissors without any guard seeing her, plant it in a toilet cistern without any guard seeing her, hide the scissors again and then head to the church where she then managed to sneak out the back without any of the multiple guards noticing, manage to find a way from the chapel to the execution block through god knows how many locked gates, kill fenner and then make her way back again without any blood on her and blend in without any guards noticing again! Hmmmm

I really thought it was that young prison officer who was in love with Yvonne ( cant recall his name now).Twiglet itS so right what you say. I had'nt thought of any of that..DUH.

I think it was pants! and wondered if the writers were due to set someone else up with Fenner's murder and changed their minds ?

I agree with Twiglet4frog its a silly ending to a great plot due to all the 'mistakes' made (how did she manage to get her hands on scissors and slip thru numerous gates etc etc) and did you see how accurate the carving of the ice was ? Julie is wasted she should be a sculpture!

Also they have charged Di with the murder, but as all the inimates and officers were detained after she found his body, why have they not found the murder weapon ( which doesnt actually exist cause it melted) but surely in an enclosed place (a prison) the place would have been turned over no stone left unturned to find the murder weapon not just throwing a few matresses around!

Though this programme is still one of best on tv at the moment there a number of flaws to this series.

I mean would Fenner really would have got his job back after numerous complaints, went cuckoo streaking thru the prison and was imprisoned himself ? And Buxton shes a nonce and would have been slaughtered in real prison and probably sectioned with the other pervs but she has a loyal following and her only defence  is "My lawyer is appealling"

Fina - you had same feeling as myself and others, the prison officer was Colin Hedges who after kicking a priest who abused suddenly disappeared "suspended" - if Fenner got his job back after all what hes done, think Hedges could have.

Come on Bad Girls writers dont con us all, you'll end up working on Eastenders....
