this new quiz on ITV Stick or Twist, can't believe how thick some of them are, their general knowledge is shocking.

Probably that's a factor Jim, it's a bit depressing when contestants precede their answer with:

Why do GK quizzes seem to want clever people in their quizzes. They spend thousands travelling round the country looking for contestants and interview thousands of contestants. How can you have a serious quiz like todays programme when you ask questions like (1) What is the third letter of the alphabet. and (2) When did London last hold the Olympics
Tonight's players thought that greyhounds were the animal that took part in Point to point races. Then another said Brazil was in South Africa. Another said that France was the continent that the Alps were in. Also Lady Chatterley 's what was far too hard. Certainly a one series quiz if it makes it to the end on this one.
My team did a interview for Eggheads against another team. You had to have 6 people for the interview and every one beat the other team and the team game at the end. Never heard another thing from them and could not believe that the team we beat 7-0 turned up on the programme
