Flying to Toronto in Sept. and intend to book and pick up a hire car at the airport, spend a day with aged cousin outside Toronto and then drive to USA to pick up daughter and grandson before driving down and touring Georgia,Tennesse, Memphis (Graceland is a must see) then back to Cleveland ,drop off daughter & co, before returning to and flying from Toronto-- 3weeks in all.
We've driven in USA several times but does anyone have any must-sees in this area, or advice etc.

That’s quite a drive in three weeks – by my reckoning it is a 2,000 mile round trip without detour. So it will be closer to 3,000 miles in all.

Niagara has to worth a look, but other than that, take a look at what trip advisor lists within its attractions for towns/cities on route.
CN Tower is the other obvious Toronto attraction, a photo between your feet whilst standing on the the viewing window is a must have.
Oh and Stone Mountain outside Atlanta is worth a visit too.

Market Street in Nashville is fun for a night out.
World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, depending how old your grandson is perhaps.

You should be able to see some of the autumn colours, at least on your return journey.

It is quite a distance you have in mind. Roads are good, though.
Not sure of the last time you drove over the border but give yourself two hours they are much stricter now and seem a bit slower in processing the paperwork. Also ensure when you hire the car that you inform them that you re
taking it over the border. Lastly have change for toll roads.Enjoy.
