Has anyone ever seen so many cliches in one episode of a drama?

Was quite looking forward to this but found it dull and was left feeling I had seen it all before. Not sure I'll be back tomorrow night.

I too was looking forward to this new drama but it was slow and boring with not much storyline...frustrating.

I kept waiting for 'something' to happen...it never did. My attention kept wandering-the commercials had more action.

The wannabe special ops vet
The mummy's boy
The socially inept outsider
The hidden arsenal
The isolated run down farmhouse
The apparent trigger that only happened when the person had amassed his arsenal of high powered illegal weaponry and ammunition without anyone being aware.

it could have been any of the random shootings this and the USA has seen,

A bit disappointed with the first episode, but will give it a go, however if the second episode is as boring, I won't watch again.

Rather impressed actually but I do like drama to develop rather than be laid on a plate as thick as lard-succeeded in making me sympathise with the 'killer' when the 'squaddies' beat him up. It had a 'grey' aspect I agree but thankfully didn't give us the killings in all the gory detail-typically classy British production-not US colour and in your face action-thank goodness. Beautifully acted too.

Agree completely with djhawkes! It just seemed to tick boxes not tell a real story.
