Amazing Drama Series

Can anyone recommend a great drama series which lasted more than 6 episodes, in the last 20 years? Something I can get on DVD. But not the Sopranos as I saw that? Thanks!

If you extend your time frame I would recommend Edge of Darkness, not sure how many episodes it was.

Cracker was enjoyable.

If you're in the UK, you can only get three series of Rescue Me on DVD. I know for a fact that the fourth season was only available online (According to Wikipedia there were seven seasons in total). Shame really, because I loved that show.

I'd recommend Blue Bloods

Agree with that, it was utterly brilliant. I'm seriously considering getting a Region 1 DVD player and buying the complete set off eBay/Amazon.
Can't even get the full set on iTunes yet either.

Here's another one I enjoyed on Sky Living (But it's not released on DVD until October), Chicago Fire.

It covers a Fire & Ambulance house. There's a good plot twist about a third of the way through and it keeps recurring throughout. English actor Eamonn Walker [ http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0907708/ ] is great as the Fire Chief.
