Hi Ed - surely we agree on the paucity of laughs in 'Claire'? And in my view, the majority of Radio Four comedy.

i always thought Little Britain was a one-shot deal as well - unfunny situations and catch-phrases repeated over more than one series was always the 'Emperor's New Clothes' for me.

I must move inside the M25, and join the chattering classes - that may tune me in to what they all think is worth the time and trouble to commission and transmit this guff.
