Not without coming round....
Big Brother Inc say..."As part of our Domestic Broadcast Security arrangements, a nine digit number may appear in the bottom left hand corner of screen for up to five minutes during live football broadcasts or sporting events. This is not related to your individual subscription and is generated automatically as part of the broadcast. It will not affect your viewing experience in any way"

Thank you Jomlett. That explains it well (except that mine is a ten digit number) as the number appears during football broadcasts.

Virgin Media say... we made some changes to our TV platform which affects some of our TV customers. This change means that customers watching Sky Sports 1, 2 & 3 may notice a 10 digit number appear on the bottom left of the screen. This number will appear for only for a short time, usually no more than 5 minutes but may reappear periodically throughout the broadcast. This change comes part of our domestic broadcast security arrangements and I can confirm that the number is generated by the broadcast and not by your televisions.
