Its rubbish the worse film i have seen in ages!!!! The oompla loompa is one asian man in a red catsuit!!!!! shocking!!! They have made Willy Wonka a complete weirdo i watched the orginal and that one is the same day and as soon as the film titles were coming on for the orginal film it made me realise how good the 1st one is!!!!!!

Its alright, there are some funny moments, but a lot of blank faced moments, doesn't compete with the first one though.

Also, they changed the girl from being a bad egg to a bad nut! What were they thinking!!? its egg not nut!!

Saw it on Friday & ended up seeing it again today.Overall I thought the movie was good.Freddie Highmore as Charlie played the part very well.There was a couple of scenes in the movie where i felt sorry for Charlie because of the fine performance by Freddie Highmore.The movie didn't blow me away but i have seen worse.

yep, i've put my answer in ermintrude's thread (above, although you'll have to refresh the page to see my answer). ok, not great, a bit weird. but I think all Tim Burton's films are weird! And the oompa loompas (well, one man x hundreds) were just wrong.

Seal, in the book Veruca is a bad nut not a bad egg - they were following it more to the book then to the original film.  I thought it was good, very entertaining for kids but I have to admit, I love Gene Wilder so I would prefer the 1st one.
