Do you remember Johnny Ball and Play School/Playaway and then all his maths programmes in the 80s? What a star he was- made maths interesting and fun rather than dull and difficult. Did you ever watch his programmes and did you like them? Or was it just me?

well it wasn't me.....but then in the 80's I was in my thirties!
Johnny Ball.....legend.

Love him.
He was a favourite of mine until he sold his soul to the advertising companies.
I remember him. And playschool- Big Ted, Little Ted, Humpty, Jemima and Hamble?
Pixie, apparently somebody wrote in to Playschool to ask why Jemima never won any of the games!
I think he looks like a caricature - ears, nose mouth, jaw, head, all too big to be natural - just like his daughter!
I fancied him!!
Didn't she win any? I never noticed that. Even i had, I'm not sure i would have been worried enough to write in!
I fancied Simon Groom from Blue Peter- my first ever crush!
I went out with a Magpie presenter for a year or two.
Ooh! I liked the one with curly black hair. Was that Magpie? No idea what his name was.
which one, grasscarp?
It wasn't Pete Brady was it? Or Mick Robertson?
curly black hair was Mick Robertson
Yes, just googled it. It was Mick Robinson i liked. Are you telling us, grasscarp? :-)
One of you has named him.
Only one of us? Mick Brady then? ;-)
...Pete Brady...
