Why is the man such an idiot on this programme? I'm sure he could tell us the facts in a quiet non-irritating way instead of shouting loudly, prancing around with his side kick lady presenter, saying childish things, acting like they are in a pantomime and getting on people's nerves. The helpful tips are there but wrapped up in all the c**p in between, which if taken out of the hour long programme could give loads more time to actually give more tips!

Does anyone actually laugh at the things he says and does? I would like you to be honest ..............

Ann....I had planned to watch but had to give up....he was driving me nuts.

Pantomime is a good description.
Can't stand the bloke.
Is the irritating woman fron Apprentice still on? She's far more annoying than he is.
I agree, but so many programmes are going this way (silly sketches on Watchdog, re-showing clips several times that had been shown earlier in the programme) I think programme makers must believe viewers have the attention span of a goldfish and need to have everything dumbed down to understand it.
I like Martin Lewis but he should stick to radio.
I would have watched it but guessed what it would be like. I didn't.
I blame Dominic Littlewood, the world's most stern small person for this trend in hamming up consumer programmes.
the website is the most amazing thing on earth. You can get real help there.
Yes- Money Saving Expert is wonderful. I love listening to him on radio and in normal TV interviews but all this dressing up and hamming it up, plus endless showing the same clips several times, make me turn off this TV show
I totally agree, had to switch it off after 5minutes. I find his website is much the same, all over the place, and his weekly? newsletter, bored after a few minutes - pity because he has some useful info too.

His website is fine, very useful topics and tips on there. I agree with factor, I almost feel insulted that he or the producers think we need stupid drivel like this, to catch our attention on a TV programme. I would love a public vote on who switched off because of it - and send the results to his website!

Also why not tell us which stores actually won the comparison sketch, the girl presenter let out that one was Lidl. They often do store prices in the national papers so why not on this programme, it was actually ITV so they could!
I don't watch the prog but have seen him on morning TV occasionally. Surely all he does is try to present it so that everyone, not just the serious sensible folk who probably need the advise less, can grasp his advise ?
I dared to make a polite comment on Twitter to him during his last series and he took great offence and blocked me.

All the crazy camera angles, the zooming in and out, gives me motion sickness! A shame, as others have said, some useful information, but couldn't see it through to the end!
I posted similar on his twitter page last night Ann, and there were lots of people slamming his TV show.

Not looked yet if he has replied, or if I'm blocked :-)!
Agree A potentially good consumer show spoiled with all the silly nonsense shouting prancing about, we turned off before it finished as we had enough of shouting and being dramatic . Lots of TV shows are spoiled with this nonsense, Watchdog that Matt prat dressing up and acting silly. Don't TV producers not realise what's happening viewers are turning off, Homes Under The Hammer spoiled with silly music. We have to sky+ and mute quite often.
trt, I can't see any tweets criticising the show. What search term should I use?
