I thought Bruce was very rude to Mark tonight, he is not s judge and should not make such comments. Does anyone else agree?

Not only was he rude to Mark, but he was VERY rude about Blackpool...... and then later he said to Kevin "are you sure you're from Grimsby" (or some such thing). Time to go methinks!

I didn`t hear what he said to Mark but I thought he was rude at the beginning of the programme when he told someone (I`m presuming it was the audience) to shut up and then said they were very rude.

He was trying to make Mark feel better irrespective of his size his comments about Blackpool didn't go down well with some of the locals can't remember exactly what he said but compared Blackpool to Benidorm with disparaging remarks, but does Bruce write the script and deliver it or does he say his own thing, apart from all this he is brilliant for his age and doesn't need specs to read the cues!

He said nothing disparaging about Blackpool. It was a Paso Doble, a Spanish dance, and he said take a walk along Blackpool prom and pretend you're in Benidorm.

Well it is about the dancing but it is also about the presenters, judges and music. That`s what makes the whole show. Personally, I prefer Bruce to Tess Daly but each to their own.

I like Bruce. I can't think of anyone else that I'd prefer to present the show.

The trouble with younger male presenters is that they are sterotyped in some way. Either very camp (Alan Carr) very crude (Russell Brand) or completely narcissistic (Jonathan Ross) The only person that I can think of who would be great fronting Strictly is Lionel Blair.
