Australia to resume with England needing 2 wickets to bring their first innings to a close.
The tourists will be looking to keep the Aussies under 300, which would be psychologically unsettling on what is deemed by the pundits a 400+ track.

Personally, I'm looking foward to seeing how one Mitchell Johnson bowls but more importantly how he stands up to the rigours of the banter from the Barmy Army.

Here we go, Broady to bowl.....

Now it'll be the turn of Carberry in his first Ashes and indeed his first Test to front up. What a test of his mettle.

Cook goes, caught behind. Happened a lot recently i.e. Cook out early but England go on to amass a good score, was a feature of last summer's Ashes so our batsmen will be used to this.
Aus will have their tails up though, got to get through to lunch now without further loss.

Yep, look at his record last summer, he was poor by his standards. But the team kept winning and he was the captain so the selectors stuck with him, even though there were a few mumbled questions about him.
