Just checking tv listings for Christmas week found Celebrity Mastermind 23/12, is it me or what? am I getting old is there anyone like me on ab and never heard of any of these people?. My idea of celebs seem to differ from the programme makers

Mark Porter is a doctor who's been on TV and Radio especially offering medical advice. I've not heard of the others.
Really, really famous people as a rule don't like to be exposed for their lack of knowledge ...

The way I look at it is , if you have no idea who they are then it is just 'Mastermind', so no problem really.

Yes I agree, there was a chap on from my town I think he finished last, I also googled the actor chap he played Stephen Spielberg in some film he was very nervous. But the winner just kept reeling them of.

I know who Mark Porter is and I've heard of Adil Ray, but I haven't got the foggiest on the other to.

A rule of thumb is that that if there's a 'celebrity' you've never heard of then they're either off Hollyoaks or TOWIE. If you don't know what either of those is, forget it.
