Ok following on from "Worst Movie" asked below. What film is your biggest dissapointment, I mean where everyone said it's great and "you really must see it , you'll love it" and it turned out to be, in your opinion at least, a pile of cack! I've got 2 that spring instantly to mind, "One flew over the cuckoos, nest" so boring, so slow, so up it's own ****. Particularly dissapointing becaause I saw it recently for the first time and I was looking forward to ticking it off in my list as I'd never got round to seeing it before. The other is "Gosforth Park" for similar reasons.

Thought both Galaxy Quest and Mars Attacks were very unfunny 'comedies' and also have to agree that The Phantom Menace was a big disappointment.

I loved Gosford Park though!

Just remembered 8 Mile, Waited so long to see him perform the song and they just used it in the credits.  Also a pants film generally!!!!

Rancid Aluminium - such an improbable story line and crap acting.  Open Water - though when you think about it, they were a bit limited by the plot - 2 people left adrift in the sea, arrival of sharks, the end.

Also just remembered Road to Perdition.  I thought it was a modern classic that I ought to see.  What a pile of dull pap!
