No Eastenders, she's going to be the new landlady of Queen Vic. I like her.
Oh, lol. I don't watch Eastenders.
I used to live in London and Rock and Chips was a familiar meal in a fish and chip shop. "Rock" was a kind of Dogfish.

But I now live in the Midlands and have never seen "Rock" in any local fish shop, nor anywhere else in the country.

I often wondered what people who live outside London made of the name "Rock and Chips" for this TV show.
Blimey, she must be in her 90's ;-) btw VHG I know what Rock is and I've never lived in London. I can't say I've ever seen it in any of the chippys round here though.

She was in last night's episode of EE as the landlady of a pub in Watford. Shirley & her sister, Tina, visited her last night. No love lost there with her sister-in-law, Linda, and Shirley, surprise, surprise. Then Tina nicked the pub's raffle ticket money before they left.

It's amazing how quickly things happen in soapland. Last night she & her husband where were landlords of a pub in Watford and one week later they will have moved to the Queen Vic.

She also says she was at Michelle and Lofty's wedding around 1986, "I was 10 and I was a little girl at the wedding and I had to ask to got to the toilet and ran up the aisle and back down again". She also appeared in an episode of EE in January 2013 as Linda Carter.

Always liked her '
