Late Night Cinema Screenings
6 Answers
Why is it that no cinemas seem to have 10pm, 11pm, or midnight screenings any more. I'm in London and nobody seems to have them anymore at all. Not even the huge chains. Keen to see Hobbit 2 but have to go late and I can't.
Did they all suddenly agree not to do it?
Very odd.

Thanks for the link. There are the odd 10 and 11 pm ones, yes, but of course I'm looking for HFR 3D which isn't available everywhere (and none of the late ones are anywhere near me).
I just remember going to the Hobbit last Xmas and each of the 3 local big chopping centre cinemas ALL had 11pm or midnight showings.
This year, not one of them have a screening past 9pm.
Oh well.
Perhaps they all met and decided that it simply wasn't worth paying their staff to stay til 2am for a mostly empty cinema. Pity. I used to love it.
