I know its not real but...

Are we really expected to believe that Phil Mitchell would meet a bloke he has never met and accept a bag load of money in exchange for the keys to the Vic?

Likewise would anyone hand over bundles of cash for a key?

There couldn't have been any paperwork involved as Phil was intending to sell to Janine an hour earlier & it was Xmas day.

This sounds a very similar story to when the Mitchells sold the pub some years back - just all sorted out overnight, like it really happens like that.
Cause it's real, anybody can get there hands on £250,000 in ready's on Christmas day can't they !.
LOL tony, go to 100 different cashpoints.....!
Only if it's under the bed, Tony

LOL! Even someone as 'hard' as Phil would not walk around the East End with that sort of cash.
Ah right, now I know where the mrs keeps it, I wondered what that big lump was under the mattress !.

If she buys a pub tomorrow then you will know.
Gawd, if she does I hope it isn't in London.
It was the same on Corrie when Steve bought Lloyd out of Streetcars. Within a couple of days Lloyd had found a new business, had all new women drivers and signs made for the tops of the cars!
And all of a sudden in corrie Gails house belongs to David and Kylie, no paperwork or solicitors.
