Friday if all the equipment arrives in time. I cried yesterday when they told me, I can honestly say I thought this day would never come.

hi jeza, while i can appreciate you want him home as soon as poss, friday is a terrible day to be discharged, and i wonder if it might be better to try and move it till monday or back till thursday?
It's just that when someone comes home for the first time in a long time (especially with a brand new care package) they are very vulnerable in the first few days. If you come home on a friday, those first days are ones without easy access to care/medical care etc

Schedule is as follows. Monday furniture taken outside by Age concern. Tuesday council pick up said furniture. Wednesday Floor to Mic's room to be laid. Thursday Equipment to arrive and rest of furniture to be put back in situ. Friday Mic to come home in the AM. 12.45pm carers to arrive. Then every day at
7am
noon
5pm
8.30pm
District nurse to make her first visit on Saturday and access how often she needs to come. Sorted. I HOPE.
