...still it's the 'Baftas' (Sunday 18th May) that matter when the actors are judged by theirs peers and not by the fickle public.

Last Tango may have been too late for this year's awards.
I'd look out for it next year if you think it's worth a shout.
Ahh, now my best doctor USED to be Tom Baker, but I am now a huge Chris Ecclestone fan.
My favourite partnership has to be the doctordonna. I loved that series.
I detest Dr Who, from when it first started.
Each to their own craft.
Absolutely Mojo, although I will admit to shouting profanities at the TV when it won the award............
I grew up with Dr Who, I was skeptical about the 'new generation' but at the same time was elated to see it being not only resurrected but resurrected with a great deal of time and effort. I thought Christopher Eccleston was wonderful and when David Tennant scrunged into view, I thought "who is this pillock?!"
In the end, my two favourite Doctors are Jon Pertwee from the first generation and (ahem) David Tennant.
It would be nice to see people accepting that the whole preference thing about Dr Who is subjective rather than stating their opinions as if they were fact.
In 50 years I must have watched, oh about 5 minutes of Dr Who. It's just not my thing at all. I agree with Prudie at 21.12 about Broadchurch.
