Bbc Iplayer On Sky

Who decides what programmes are uploaded to the iPlayer, the Beeb or Sky? I'm pee'd off as last nights Salamander is not on there but it's on the regular iPlayer on the PC. I hate watching TV on the computer.

Skyline Entertainment made the series. When they sold it to the BBC they may have had to exclude the right to allow the programmes to be seen via Sky's equipment because of pre-existing agreements with other broadcasters. So neither the BBC nor Sky would have any control over the matter.

>>>would a rights issue come down to individual episodes?
Probably not. Either
(a) someone has just spotted that the programme should never have been available via Sky in the first place (and 'pulled the plug' on future episodes) ; or
(b) someone simply omitted to click a mouse button to add Ep.5 to the Sky listings.
