Food And Drink

Quite enjoy this programme but last nights was really annoying. The 'subject' was 'seasonal produce', so far so interesting. The guest chef Tony Singh proceeded to prepare venison, seasonal perhaps but hardly cheap. The drink chosen to go with the meal ? Whisky, three choices at £25, £34 and £45 a bottle.
Nice to see that the BBC have things in perspective!!

There are better things to spend money on than expensive spirits (my opinion naturally) and the presenters seem to imagine that wine is on everyone's table. Sure its popular but not universally so. The plum tart looked very good though.
