Just watched his first chat show. Quite good, but love MM. Did anyone see the prank he played on the chap in the audience, taking his mobile and texting to all in his phonebook "Have I been annoying lately?" - some very funny reply texts, but do think it really happened or was it a set up?

I would say it really happened. I missed the beginning so I don't know how the chaps phone was selected. I'm sure the audience have an option to not get picked.

I would guess it was probably for real. Red faces all round if it was a set up and those involved cannot keep a secret.

He just asked if anyone could lend him their mobile phone. MM really did text on it as he showed it to camera. It was hilarious as the chap was Jewish and 2 Rabbis answered the text asking who the sender was!

I recorded it because I love Terry Wogan, enjoyed his spot but wiz zed through everything else as I can't stand MM he is too frenetic or do I mean frantic for me.

I'm the same AP - I can't listen to him or watch his twelve-year-old face on an adult body.

No idea if he is funny - I've never got as far as listening to any of his jokes before hitting the channel change!
