Wife was drugged in car ,he was going to set fire to it but her dad found bank statements phoned her mobile told her to come home and why .Went home she challenged him about stealing her money and why had he got petrol in car boot ,he said she would have died happy.That's when it cut to Oban. Hope that helps

I think he's going for the sympathy vote, as she didn't really seem very interested in him at first. The man who left, were they having an affair, or just friends ??
