I felt sick when the dogs were put down. Owners need putting down. Why is it a dog attacks and sometimes kills due to being mistreated themselves, and they get put down, but a human attacks and kills, but is allowed to chill at one of the cushy prisons rather than being put down and saving prison space! I am frustrated because my neighbor wacks his dog with a stick, i feel angry about this, but i have not seen it, his wife mentioned it and i heard it happen because the dog whimpered as if in pain. I am petrified of their dog, it is wild and vicious, but i cant help but blame the owner, as this dog was a sweet little puppy when first arrived and would just sit near fence and watch everyone.

If you are concerned about the dog then why have you not reported (possible) cruelty?

For goodness' sake - report it if the dog is being mistreated. Don't just sit back and let it happen. Poor dog.

..and if you are frightened on a "wild and vicious" dog, you should have reported it to the police long ago.

Phleb, isn't this the same dog you posted about a while back, that stopped you from going outside into your back garden (and you with small children too)? I thought you'd been advised then that you ought to be reporting it - has nothing happened?

i reported it but rspca said it was fed sheltered and watered. looked healthy although they would speak to owner about my concerns they have no grave concerns about the dogs welfare and treatment. Police spoke to owner about keeping it on lead and muzzling it, they couldn't get into anything else, but warned owners once they finally got hold of them about it being out of control. What else can i do. I told them what i tell you. :-(.
