Les Dennis In Corrie

Much fuss was made in the papers & TV mags about Les Dennis 'joining' Corrie.

As far as I am aware he has only made one brief appearance as a robber.

Was that it? I thought he was joining the cast as a regular or is he due to come back at a later stage?

I've just googled and he's supposed to date Gail in future episodes but why would she date someone who tried to burgle her home? The mind boggles!

Les Dennis is touring in a Peter James play, Perfect Murder at the moment. Its in Manchester next week, so he might fit some Corrie filming in during the day, and then it goes to Richmond for its final week. Corrie filming will start proper after that I imagine.

He is coming back to Gails as part of his sentence he gets - when caught - is to face the people he has burgled (sp!).

So she pitys him and takes him in
