Britains Got Talent (Too Old At 27)

BGT last night had a male dance group Cartel, Jamie was singled out by Simon Cowell asked what age he was Jamie is 27 Simon humiliated him saying he would put them through without him, the other judges voted for them, I thought it was really rude of Simon to make an issue of this, I know he is a judge and says what he likes but this was below the belt!!

i thought it was below the belt too. Felt very sorry really for the poor fellow, as they all done so well.

I agree. Simon can be very rude. I really don't like this show any more. I tape it and run thru all adverts and bits with judges talking etc. makes the programme much shorter. I thought that group of boys were going to sing !

I agreed with Simon. He was a great dancer, but his "look" didn`t fit in with the others.

A "BOYS" dance troupe......with one of them 27 years of age and an old 27 year old at that.

But, Cowell was inconsiderate in pointing it out on air.

If you are prepared to go on these programmes knowing that you will be publicly judged and they are often humiliated as well then I don't think one should be too devastated or surprised when it happens to you.

I too would be rather unsure in promoting a group with a dance member that is at an age where they are often retired from dancing.

Simon has to follow the script for these programmes, just like everyone else.

You seem to be looking at his face to see his age did u actually watch him dance he was as good as the others age shud not be an issue if u say it is then maybe if u go for a job and you don't get it because of your age it will serve u right

I felt sorry for the guy, but I also thought he looked older than 27 !

I too thought he looked much older than 27. But...he should have been judged on his dancing-nothing else. If they had gotten through,they have done a makeover...made him a bit trendier looking?
