i know its not real ( why do i always have to put that when i comment on a soap cos someone always pipes up and says its not real lol ) but i cant stand the girl , dont like her acting and the storyline is boring yes i know i can turn it over lol anyone one else thinking same

At the moment I think all the Corrie story lines are crap. The writers have to stick to somebodies idea of fair play & supply the correct percentage of ethnic minorities & different sexual proclivities. Oh for the good old days when Coronation Street was something to really look forwards to with real acting & good story lines, to be honest I cannot see it lasting much longer.

As for the poor story lines - in all of our soaps - they will continue as long as viewing figures are in the millions. I haven't watched a full episode of Corrie for months, now, and i caught Emmerdale last night for the first time in ages and it appeared that all the story lines were being played for laughs. Even the HIV plot!

I know its not real but we are still entitled to believable storylines Maddy Sophie story worst ever on Corrie, I enjoy Corrie having followed it for years, thank goodness for Mary, Norris, Roy etc, time to stop scraping the barrel!!

There was an item in the paper by Jean Alexander (Hilda) she said she gets asked an awful lot of times to return or do specials, but she feels she can't.
The way the show is now her character would not fit in. She left with the storyline she was going to be a housekeeper to a well todo doctor. She worries where would her character fit in with the current rubbish that is going on. That last bit is my interpretation of what she said.

I so agree, it has to be one of the worst story lines ever, the character is so boring and unlikeable. The new Becky? Never, the actress who played her to reduce me to tears when she played a sad story line, this girl could never act like that.
