Child Minder
Legally how many children under 3 years can 1 child minder look after by herself in her home?
A child minder has moved into a rented house near me and some days she has 5 children of whom 1 is a baby, 3 cannot walk far and 1 is about 21/2 and I just thought that it was a bit much.

So, as I read it, a single adult childminder can have up to 6 children in her care.

Ah. That changed from Sept 2012. Now they can register particular ages and adapt, so have an extra baby, but two less older children etc.
