Thanks ! I know BGT is on the other side but its a bit childish of the Beeb not to report it ! Good result, although I thought Jack Pack had the edge. More my era I suppose !

Its difficult not to agree with you bibs, but there are rare glimpses of real talent sometimes. Jack Pack was one. Anyway, its a variety show that can unite families on a Saturday night, just like I remember as a boy in the 60's and early seventies. Its a very long time since I sat around the Telly, with Mum and Dad and my little brothers ! Happy days !

There'll probably be very few ITV shows that don't mention the winner and there are millions of entertainment channels and websites that include such nonsense. Real news shouldn't include things like who wins a "talent" show, or the winner of Big Brother, the latest plot twist in Coronation Street or who was the Chaser in today's show. Of course, the BBC can't resist doing it when it is their one of own shows.

The winner was probably Simon Cowell as he will have decided he can make more money out of these than any other act.

Thanks Hans ! pretty good, although Jack Pack had the edge for me. Also I think I am right in saying that these boys are already Musical stars. I like the amatuer element of shows like BGT.
