Wonder what thoughts go through the Queen's head? Doesn't seem all that long ago that she was on horseback. She and the Duke are marvellous for their age.I love watching this-feel proud to be British
Devotion, practice, discipline, tradition, hard work....very little to do with being a Royalist.......just perfect timing, pageantry and congratulations to all involved.
This is what we do best and people come from far and wide to see the spectacle of Trooping the Colour. Its good to see the Queen and Prince P both fit and well enough to participate fully. Great day.

when you think how old the Queen and prince Philip are they look really well, and yes before anyone else says it, they have the money ;) i would have loved to have seen the flypast for real rather than on tv!
As an ex serviceman, I can appreciate the hard work these people have put in to make the parade look spectacular. Missed it this morning as my future FIL is in hospital and we were called in by the staff. Will catch highlights later or on catchup.
We were so lucky. Having lunch at a great riverside pub in Hackney East London and the whole flypast flew over us, absolutely wonderful and caused great excitement!
