Hi I played with Jim when he was in Vanity Fair at a Young Farmers gig at Tracy's Barn in Totnes Devon we played on the same bill as he ,it was a really good night, we in fact hired them our equipment as they thought that their gear would not be able to cope with the size of the of the place and the crowd so we did a deal and I played a few songs with then great fun ,as a matter of interest my group was called Bus Stop ,Named after the Marilyn Monroe film of the same name.I only knewhe was so good . Jim for a short while but I can say he was a very nice guy.
We also played with the Alex Harvey Band and he died a few weeks later .
