I found the first 3 episodes quite confusing but last nights episode seemed to make some sense and things are finally starting to click into place.

Oh and brilliant acting by Maggie Gyllenhaal.

agree - a basic knowledge of ME politics helps though.....and the acting is good.

I have made myself watch it- a bit like going to the dentist

Nessa S must be jewish ( clearly I was knitting as well ) and must be crazy to go to Gaza - and as for taking the other girl..... suicidal

The assault scene I found... dramatic.

The law scene I found unbelievable - also that Nessa hadn't learnt Arabic by that time, altho' locked up with an Arabic interpreter. And I thought the defence should have prevailed - but you know what they say about legal systems...

Oh and they were speaking Wgyptian Arabic

other than that - filled an hour....
